How to Get Out of Koh Samui Prison – Thailand Bail Successful Again

Do you have a friend or family member who is in prison in Koh Samui? If so, contact Thailand Bail to discuss how we can help. Just last week, Thailand Bail’s lawyers in Koh Samui successfully bailed out an Australian citizen who had already spent a couple of weeks locked up in the Koh Samui Prison. Once we received the name of the accused person, we jumped to action by checking the details of the accused person and confirming the case number, charges, location of the accused person, and all other details. Thailand Bail is dedicated to helping people in need, so we offered to do this preliminary work pro bono – for free.

After confirming the details, our office was able to send out a detailed proposal, in English language, to the family of the accused, who promptly hired us to take on the case. The very next day, our lawyers in Koh Samui were preparing all paperwork for bail and doing all other essential work that needs to be done to guarantee that bail will be granted. We know that only the judge at the court can make the decision, but Thailand Bail is Thailand’s oldest and largest bail and criminal defense law firm, and we know how to do bail. Sure enough, once we got everything in order, we got started on the bail process.

However, as any lawyer in Thailand will tell you, there are always surprises that come up when doing bail in Koh Samui or anywhere else in Thailand. In this case, we had reviewed the details of the case and discovered that our client had spent around two weeks in the Koh Samui Prison before being moved to the hospital, which is on the opposite side of the island. We planned for this, and showed up at the hospital to get documents signed, when we were informed that they had just sent him back to the prison. For anyone who knows Koh Samui, the prison and the government hospital are not close to each other, so we had to quickly go back to the prison, convince the prison authorities to urgently get the documents signed, and then went straight to the court to complete the filing. Fortunately, we have a good reputation at the Koh Samui Provincial Court, and all of our documents were in order for bail. Around 4PM, we got the good news that our work had been approved by the judge at the Koh Samui Provincial Court, and our client was released from the Koh Samui Prison that same day.
