Rayong Provincial Court

The Rayong Provincial Court is the court that handles all major criminal and civil cases in the province of Rayong, Thailand. The Rayong Provincial Court has been newly built and can accommodate multiple cases in each courtroom simultaneously. It is common to have 10 – 30 cases scheduled for the same court room in the morning session as well as the afternoon session. For most criminal cases, the court is scheduled to start at 09:00am, but the actual proceedings with the judges will start around 10:00am. This is especially true if defendants (prisoners) must be moved from the Rayong Prison, which is located north of the city of Rayong. Afternoon session cases are usually set for 01:00pm or 01:30pm, and they usually start around 20-30 minutes after these times. However, out of respect for the court and the judges, we advise arriving at the scheduled times of 09:00am and 01:00pm respectively.
