Included in the Thailand Bail profile of courts and prisons of Thailand, we have included another court in a city popular with both foreign tourists and expats alike – the Chiang Mai Provincial Court. The Chiang Mai Provincial Court is located on the north side of Chiang Mai, outside the city centre. If you are coming from the Chiang Mai International Airport, located on the southwest side of Chiang Mai, you go go around the city centre and head north to find the court. From the city centre, take the main road heading north, past the golf course, and you will soon arrive at the Chiang Mai Provincial Court. Unlike other courts in Thailand, the Chiang Mai Provincial Court is not located in the middle of the city. 

The Chiang Mai Provincial Court is a relatively small court, when compared to the courts in Bangkok. However, the Chiang Mai Provincial Court is quite busy, and it is normal to have multiple cases going on at the same time in each court room.
