BBC Features Thailand Bail on TV and Radio

The BBC, one of the most respected news and media organizations in the world, has featured Thailand Bail prominently in its television and radio broadcasts recently. One of our clients has been part of an ongoing criminal investigation, and we have been fighting to have charges dropped or at least reverted to those found on the original charge sheet. Because of our legal efforts in the Bangkok Criminal Court, the media in the UK has picked up on the story, making it the top story on the BBC Hereford and Worcester morning show “Elliott and Toni at Breakfast” for March 31, 2015 as well as the top story on the BBC West Midlands morning show hosted by Adrian Goldberg. Finally, our case was the lead story on the evening news for the BBC Midlands. This follows several newspapers in the UK writing about our case, including The Mirror, the Birmingham Mail, and the Bromsgrove Standard, where it was the front-page story.

These stories shed light on the challenging circumstances clients sometimes face in Thailand, with changing charge sheets and confusing legal documents. We are dedicated to working for people to have a fair shot at justice in Thailand. We do not participate in unethical tactics that so many other lawyers in Thailand utilize. Being featured on an international news channel shows that we must keep a high standard of work, remaining ethical and professional at all times. We are grateful to the BBC for featuring us on their news and radio programs, and look forward to continuing our work int he courts here for this featured case.

We will be posting excerpts from the BBC news and radio programs for you to watch and listen to. We hope that these efforts will bolster our work in the courts in Thailand, ultimately leading to a positive outcome for the defendant in this case.
