Getting Arrested in Thailand (Part 2)

We have previously written about getting arrested in Thailand, but with recent criminal cases coming to our office, we decided to write another post on the topic. Getting arrested in Thailand and knowing how to bail out of this situation are important skills to have if you face criminal charges in Thailand. Thailand Bail is unique in that we offer free advice over the phone to people who have been arrested. Going to jail is not on anyone’s to-do list when they arrive in Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, or other location here. Thailand Bail provides free legal advice on how to respond to police interrogation and other initial investigation

being done by the Royal Thai Police, drug suppression police, tourist police, or other branches of law enforcement.

We recently encountered a situation where someone was arrested in Samut Prakarn, just outside Bangkok. We had been recommended by those who knew about our work in criminal law, and received a call from someone who had just been arrested over a drug possession. We were able to provide initial advice over the phone, which saved this person from making a major mistake during the police investigation phase. Because of our advice, the person who was arrested felt that we could best represent him, and we were hired to bail him out and manage his case. We were fortunate enough to have received the call within the initial 48-hour detention period at the police station, and we were able to bail him out at the Samut Prakarn Court, before being sent to the infamous Samut Prakarn Prison, 50km outside the city.

Thailand Bail Foreigners Arrested

Unlike other law firms who demand payment up front to even talk, Thailand Bail provides free legal advice over the phone for those in need. We speak Thai and English, and if there is a further language issue, we have interpreters and translators who speak Russian, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Spanish, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malay, Vietnamese, and other languages. Contact Thailand Bail (www.thailandbail.com/contact) if you need urgent help in your criminal matter.

Sometimes, 15 minutes on the phone with one of our case specialists is enough to save you months of headache in a Thai prison. Trust us, defending yourself when you are sitting in a Thai jail is much harder than defending yourself from your apartment or hotel room. Do not make the mistake of signing anything until you speak with us.
